In this episode I sit down with my buddy and incredible songwriter, Matt Rogers.  Matt has songs recorded by Randy Houser, Brett Eldridge, Jimmie Allen, Brad Paisley, Justin Moore, Luke Bryan, Dustin Lynch, Chris Young, Dylan Scott, Gary Allan, Mitchell Tenpenny and many more.  So far he's had four #1 hits in the US and 5 #1's in Canada along with many other top charting songs.  Just after we recorded this podcast, he also won his first Grammy on Feb 5, 2023 for the smash hit "Till You Can't" that he wrote for Cody Johnson.  In this episode we will talk about the stories behind that song as well as the stories behind "We Went" by Randy Houser and "The Long Way" by Brett Eldridge.  We will talk about how he got into songwriting in the first place and was writing 2-3 songs a day and just more advice given by an incredible songwriter and great guy.
